Carlos Ruiz is a New York-based photographer and director with roots in Cali, Colombia. His work lives at the intersection of vibrant Latin American soul and Brooklyn's raw energy, capturing the poetry of cultural contrasts.

Raised between Colombian warmth and NYC edge, Carlos developed an eye for storytelling that's both intimate and bold. After studying at SVA and Purchase College, he crafts images where color, rhythm, and human connection take center stage – whether through a single frame or moving pictures.

His visual language celebrates duality: the spontaneous and the composed, tradition and modernity, the fleeting moment and the lasting impression.
